Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between third ranked Cimarrones (6-7) and fifth ranked Sabios (1-9) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Cimarrones were defeated by Sabios in a tough game in Manizales 83-91. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Augusto Bruera (196-1998, agency: BIG) who scored 41 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Cristian Londono (198) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Sabios' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gianfranco Espinosa produced 30 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Sabios left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Motilones. Cimarrones at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Cafeteros (8-2) against fourth ranked Team Cali (5-7) on Wednesday night. Visiting Cafeteros were defeated by Team Cali in a tough game in Cali 92-98. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cafeteros. Chilean guard Franco Morales (179-1992) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!). Panagiotis Filippakos contributed with 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Tonny Trocha-Morelos (208, college: Texas A&M) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds for Cafeteros. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Team Cali maintains fourth place with 5-7 record. Cafeteros at the other side still keep top position with two games lost.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Barranquilla. Third ranked Titanes faced 4th placed Motilones. Host Titanes (9-3) defeated guests from Cucuta (1-9) 89-79. It was a great evening for Soren De Luque who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. Titanes' coach Tomas Diaz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. CJ Rodriguez responded with 21 points. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Motilones lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Sabios.

Other games of round 11 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
winless Corsarios were defeated by Bucaros in Bucaramanga 69-63. Team Cali were beaten by Cafeteros at home 76-84. Cimarrones won against Sabios on the opponent's court 106-89. Bucaros outscored Corsarios in a home game 78-45. Motilones recorded a loss to Titanes on the road 83-74.




Bucaros - Corsarios 69-63

There was no surprise in Bucaramanga where bottom-ranked Corsarios (0-10) were defeated by third ranked Bucaros (9-4) 69-63 on Monday. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Octavio Munoz (179-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian guard Alejo Montes (191-1991) helped adding 9 points and 5 assists. Argentinian center Guillermo Saavedra (200-1986) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and Carlos Morales (192) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Four Corsarios players scored in double figures. Bucaros maintains third place with 9-4 record having just two point less than leader Cafeteros. Loser Corsarios still closes the standings with ten games lost.

Titanes outrebounded Motilones 36-25 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. No shocking result in a game when second ranked Cafeteros (8-2) defeated on the road 4th placed Team Cali (5-7) 84-76 on Tuesday. They outrebounded Team Cali 50-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Tonny Trocha-Morelos (208, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Onno Steger (196, college: WCU, agency: Helping Ballers) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Cafeteros players scored in double figures. Point guard Jorge Salazar (178-1993) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Chilean guard Franco Morales (179-1992) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Team Cali's coach Guillermo Moreno rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cafeteros have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Team Cali keeps the fourth place with seven games lost.

Rather expected game in Manizales where 5th ranked Sabios (1-9) were defeated by third ranked Cimarrones (6-7) 106-89 on Wednesday. Cimarrones forced 21 Sabios turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Sabios' players. It was a great evening for American forward Mike Poole (196-1992, college: Iona) who led his team to a victory scoring 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Bruce Massey (190-1990, college: MTSU, agency: BIG) helped adding 19 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. American guard Mitchell Kirsch (193-1998, college: Babson) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican forward Jordan Glover (198-1996, college: TCNJ) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Cimarrones maintains third place with 6-7 record having just one point less than leader Cafeteros.
