Colombian round 9 best performance: Eshaya Murphy (by Hoops Agents)- June 7, 2023
The 37-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, seven rebounds and six assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Casanare (#4, 0-6) with 54-point margin 102-48. It allowed Bucaros to consolidate first place in the Colombian. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Bucaros already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Murphy had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Bucaros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Eshaya Murphy averages this season 19.3ppg and 7.5rpg. The second best player in last round's games was young Heylin Quiroz (1990) of Huila. Quiroz had a very good evening with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Of course she led Huila to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Bogota (#1, 4-6) 65-44. Huila's 5th position in Center has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Quiroz is one of the most experienced players at Huila and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was Mederith Venner of Caqueta (#3). Venner scored 18 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Venner's great performance Caqueta lost 51-60 to #2 ranked Guerreros. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Venner has a great season in Colombia. After 10 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.5rpg (#1 in league). Other top performing players last week: 4. Esther Palmera (F-2000) of Bucaros - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists 5. Leidy Montano (173-F-2004) of Cundinamarca - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
