Briahanna Jackson claims Colombian LSBF Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Briahanna Jackson (168-G-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hormigas ILBS and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 29-year old guard had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Hormigas ILBS as her team lost the game against the league's best team Indeportes (#1, 3-0) 56-72. Hormigas ILBS maintains the 3rd position in their group in Colombian LSBF. Hormigas ILBS is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 3 games. In the team's last game Jackson had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She just recently signed at Hormigas ILBS and just after two games she already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international guard Mayra Caicedo (160-G-2000) of Group E second-ranked Bucaros. Caicedo impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she led Bucaros to another comfortable win outscoring Huila (0-3) 86-38. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.8ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 7.9rpg (6th best).
