Raptors - Huila 71-59 An interesting game for Raptors (2-1) which played against Huila (0-3). Raptors managed to get a 12-point victory 71-59. Raptors forced 21 Huila turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Paula Charry (-1997) who led the winners and scored 8 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Laura Martinez (-1994) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Heylin Quiroz (-1990) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Sofia Cuesta (-2000) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Huila in the defeat. Four Huila players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hormigas ILBS won 57-48. It was a great evening for American-Mexican forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-1993, college: Charleston) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Silvia Suarez (174-2004) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Lady Quiroga (-2001) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and forward Isabella Mosquera (180-2004) scored 6 points and 16 rebounds. Caldas were defeated by Caldas (2-1) 57-51. Caldas had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Valentina Lopez (-1994) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Tania Valencia (177-1994) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners.
