Jonathan Rodriguez claims Colombian Liga Wplay weekly honour

Experienced Dominican Rep.-Puerto Rican Jonathan Rodriguez (196-G/F-1987) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Titanes and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 36-year old swingman had the game-high 31 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Titanes in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Piratas (#6, 3-2) with 35-point margin 118-83. It allowed Titanes to jump to the first place in the Colombian Liga Wplay. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Titanes already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Rodriguez had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Titanes' top player in his first season with the team. Campbell University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rodriguez is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 7.4rpg. Rodriguez is in league's top in assists (7th best: 2.0apg) and averages solid 76.2% FGP and 54.2% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Dominican Rep. Luis Montero (203-SF-1993) of second-ranked Cafeteros.
