Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Undefeated leader Titanes delivered the eighth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Bucaros (3-5) 98-80 in Bucaramanga. Titanes made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Bucaros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Dominican-Puerto Rican swingman Jonathan Rodriguez (196-1987, college: Campbell) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Venezuelan swingman Jesus Medina (188-1994) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman Le'Bryan Nash (201-1992, college: OK State) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Bucaros' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Titanes (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Bucaros at the other side keep the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Corsarios. Titanes are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Condores (#12) in Cundinamarca in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bucaros will play on the road against Piratas (#4) in Bogota and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Bottom-ranked Condores (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-74 loss to eighth ranked Corsarios (3-5) in Cundinamarca. American point guard Jeremy Smith (180-1997, college: CSUSB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Wilfredo Rodriguez contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kevin Masquita replied with 19 points for Condores. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Corsarios moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bucaros. Condores at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Corsarios will play against higher ranked Motilones (#6) in Cucuta in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Condores will play on the road against the league's leader Titanes (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
The game in Cucuta was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Piratas (6-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Motilones (4-4). Piratas managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Motilones. Worth to mention a great performance of Tristan Jarrett who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 assists. CJ Rodriguez responded with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Piratas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-2 record. Loser Motilones keep the sixth place with four games lost. Piratas will meet at home Bucaros (#7) in the next round. Motilones will play against Corsarios in Cartagena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rest of the games of round 8 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Sabios was defeated by Tigrillos in Medellin 93-92. Cafeteros beat Cimarrones at home 81-71. Team Cali lost to Carrib.Storm on the opponent's court 81-96.

Tigrillos - Sabios 93-92

Everything could happen in Medellin at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Tigrillos and 11th ranked Sabios had identical 1-6 record. This time Tigrillos used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Manizales 93-92 on Sunday night. Worth to mention a great performance of Aaron Lewis who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Juan Lozano (204-2003) who added 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Tigrillos' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Kylon Higgins (190-1993, college: Arkansas Tech) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Michael Colorado (182-1999) scored 25 points. Tigrillos (2-6) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cimarrones. Sabios lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Tigrillos will meet higher ranked Team Cali (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sabios will play against the league's second-placed Cafeteros (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
