Colombian Liga WPlay round 10 best performance: Jonathan Rodriguez (by Hoops Agents)- October 15, 2023
The 36-year old player was the main contributor (39 points, six rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Piratas (#5, 6-4) with 31-point margin 112-81. It allowed Titanes to consolidate first place in the Colombian Liga WPlay. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Titanes keeps a perfect 10-0 record. In the team's last game Rodriguez had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Titanes' top player in his first season with the team. Former Campbell University star has very solid stats this year. Rodriguez is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.5ppg and leads league in rebounds with 6.6rpg. Rodriguez is in league's top in assists (6th best: 2.3apg) and averages impressive 78.5% FGP and 58.5% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was young American CJ Rodriguez (188-PG-1994) of Motilones. Rodriguez had a very good evening with 38 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Motilones cruised to a 84-77 relatively comfortable win over Condores (#12, 0-10). Motilones' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Rodriguez is a newcomer at Motilones, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 6.1rpg and 3.7apg. Third on the list of top players last round was Aaron Lewis of Tigrillos (#10). Lewis got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. Despite Lewis' great performance Tigrillos lost 77-80 to slightly higher-ranked Cimarrones (#8, 3-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tigrillos can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Lewis has a very solid season. In 8 games in Colombia he scored 14.6ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and FGP: 56.3%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Le'Bryan Nash (201-G/F-1992) of Bucaros - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists 5. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
