Liga WPlay - Yeison Toro is back at Corsarios

Corsarios Cartagena (Liga Wplay) agreed terms with 22-year old Colombian ex-international power forward Yeison Toro (200cm-2001) for new 2024 season. It is actually his comeback to Corsarios as he has played here before. Toro just played at Independiente in Argentinian La Liga. In 10 La Liga Argentina games he had 5.4ppg and 4.1rpg last season. He ended the last season at Piratas in Colombian Liga Wplay where in 8 games he recorded only 2.8ppg and 2.6rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Corsarios in Colombian Liga Wplay. In 13 games he averaged 4.0ppg and 5.4rpg. Toro was a member of Colombian Senior National Team two years ago.
He has played previously for Tigrillos.
His team was regular season runner-up in Colombian LPB Apertura in 2022.
