Liga WPlay 2024 - Alejandro Minota is a newcomer at Corsarios

Corsarios Cartagena (Liga Wplay) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old ex-international forward Alejandro Minota (189cm-1998) for season 2024. Minota played last summer at Cafeteros. In 20 Liga Wplay games he recorded 6.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg. He helped them to make it to the Colombian LPB Clausura final after they ended regular season as second best team. Minota also played for Cimarrones that season where in 17 Liga Wplay games he averaged 8.7ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.1apg and 1.9spg (in top 2).
He also represented Colombia at the South American Championship U17 in Resistencia (Argentina) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 5.6ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.0spg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 42.1%, 3PT: 15.8%, FT: 50.0%.
Minota has played previously for six other teams: Sabios, Academia, Fast Break, Team Cali, Tigrillos and Motilones.
