Liga WPlay 2024 - Corsarios add Mosquera-Perea to their roster

Hanner Mosquera-Perea

Corsarios Cartagena (Liga Wplay) added to their roster 31-year old ex-international power forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea (205cm-104kg-1993, college: ETSU) for new 2024 season. Mosquera-Perea played last summer at Cimarrones. In 13 Liga Wplay games he recorded 4.4ppg and 4.7rpg. The last season he played at Tinguiririca in Chilean LNB where in 14 games he averaged 5.3ppg and 3.7rpg.
In 2017 he was drafted by Westchester Knicks (G-League) in second round (45th overall).
He graduated from East Tennessee State University and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. Mosquera-Perea was a member of Colombian Senior National Team between 2016 and 2021.
He is quite experienced player. Mosquera-Perea's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. Mosquera-Perea tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Australia (Thunder), Poland (HydroTruck), Venezuela (Gigantes), Chile (Valdivia) and Colombia (Titanes and Tigrillos).
His team won Colombian LPB Clausura Group B Regular Season in 2022. Mosquera-Perea played also for Indiana University for 3 years.
