Motilones del Norte (Liga Wplay) tabbed 29-year old Dominican 190cm point guard Miguel Dicent (college: Morehead State, agency: BMS Sport Agency) for new season. Dicent played last summer at Bameso in TBS league in Dominican Republic. He also played for Piratas in Venezuelan SPB where in 30 games he averaged 7.5ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg. Dicent helped them to make it to the semifinals. The other team he played shortly was Bameso (TBS) in Dominican Rep.
He represented Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) six years ago.
Dicent is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Brazil (Sao Jose), Mexico (Santos), Spain and Dominican Republic (San Lazaro, Sameji, Metros and Pueblo Nuevo). Dicent's team won Dominican Republic LNB Regular Season in 2017 and 2021.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic TBS Honorable Mention back in 2021.
Dicent graduated from Morehead State in 2017 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
