Liga WPlay 2024 - Andres Carmona joins Corsarios

Corsarios Cartagena (Liga Wplay) agreed terms with 26-year old international swingman Andres Carmona (195cm-1997) for new 2024 season. Carmona played last summer at Titanes in the Liga WPlay. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 5 Liga Sudamericana games he had just 2.0ppg. His team made it to the the Liga Sudamericana final. He also played 18 games in Liga Wplay where he recorded 4.1ppg and 1.1rpg. Carmona helped them to win the league title. He has been regularly called to Colombian Senior National Team since 2023.
Carmona has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Club Atletico Villa San Martin) and Colombia (Academia and Tigrillos).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Apertura Honorable Mention in 2022.
