Caribbean Storm Islands (Liga Wplay) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Colombian international 175cm guard Romario Roque for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Storm as he has played here before. Roque played recently at Caballeros de Culiacan in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 12 games just recently he recorded 12.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.3apg and 1.6spg last season. The last season he played at Trouville in Uruguayan LUB where in 12 CIBACOPA games he averaged 12.2ppg, 5.0rpg, 4.2apg and 1.5spg.
He also represented Colombia at the South American Championship U17 in Resistencia (Argentina) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: Score-3(19.2ppg), 7.6rpg, Assists-4(3.2apg), Steals-1(4.0spg), FGP: 52.7%, 3PT: 15.8%, FT: 39.1%.
Roque has played also professionally in Brazil (Pato), Switzerland (Nyon) and Colombia (Academia, Cimarrones, Bucaros, Titanes and Tigrillos).
