Wendy Coy agreed terms with Caldas

LSBF newcomer Power Industria Licorera de Caldas added 26-year-old international 178cm power forward Wendy Coy to their roster for the 2024 season. Coy, who played for Indeportes last summer, averaged 8.2ppg and 6.4rpg in 5 Women Basketball League Americas games in Colombia. She also played for Colombian teams Bucaros and Guerreros earlier in the season.
She also represented Colombia at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin (Colombia) last year. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 0pts, 1.0rpg. She won the Women's Basketball League Americas championship title in 2023.
