Caldas ink Malvina D'Agostino, ex Ameghino- May 10, 2024Power Industria Licorera de Caldas (LSBF) signed 23-year-old double-passport holder Argentinian center Malvina D'Agostino (184cm-2001). She moved there from Ameghino in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina, but it seems she will not stay with that team after all. In 20 LaLiga Femenina games, she had 7.1ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.7apg, 1.5spg, and 1.1bpg last season. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. In the 2023-24 season, she was named to the Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Apertura Second Team. She also played 13 games in LaLiga Femenina, where she recorded 10.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.5spg, and 1.8bpg. She contributed to her team winning the regular season and making it to the semifinals.
Part of last summer she spent at CD Universitario Concepcion in the Chilean league. The other team she played for shortly was Quimsa in Argentina. She represented Colombia at the Panamerican Games for Women in Santiago, Chile last year. Her team won Bronze. She is a very experienced player. She has also played professionally in Chile, Uruguay, and Colombia (Medellin). She was voted to the Colombian All-Star Game in 2020.
