Rosario's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

24-year old Dominican Rep. power forward Juan Rosario (203-F/C-1999, agency: BMS Sport Agency) had a very impressive game in the last round for Motilones del Norte and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Piratas (#7, 2-6) 80-66. Motilones maintains the 4th position in Colombian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Motilones will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. In the team's last game Rosario had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Motilones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rosario has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.8rpg) and averages solid 3.0bpg and 62.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jalen Brooks (196-G/F, agency: Players Group) of Corsarios Cartagena. He is American swingman in his first season at Corsarios. In the last game Brooks recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Corsarios to another comfortable win outscoring Cimarrones (#8, 0-9) 73-51. This victory allowed Corsarios to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Brooks is one of the most experienced players at Corsarios and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.3ppg (#2). He also registered 9.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jean Quezada (206-F/C) of league's leader Caribbean Storm Islands. Quezada scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Storm, leading his team to a 92-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Piratas (#7, 2-6). Carrib.Storm confirms their top position in the standings. Quezada has a great season in Colombia. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.8rpg (#1 in league).
