Panamanian-Chilean Point guard Eugenio Luzcando Bocaz (190-PG-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Bucaros de Bucaramanga, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 28-year old player got a double-double of 23 points and 13 assists, while his team beat Carrib.Storm (#1, 8-1) 94-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bucaros maintains the 2nd position in Colombian Liga Wplay. They are still close to the very top. Bucaros would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. In the team's last game Luzcando Bocaz had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Bucaros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Eugenio Luzcando Bocaz averages this season 11.7ppg and 6.0apg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Bucaros' star - young international power forward Sebastian Valencia (200-F/C-1997). Valencia had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Of course together with Luzcando Bocaz he helped Bucaros de Bucaramanga with another comfortable win 86-69 over the lower-ranked Piratas (#7, 2-8) being unquestionably team leader. Bucaros' second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 8 matches. Valencia is one of the most experienced players at Bucaros and similarly like Eugenio Luzcando Bocaz has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Spanish guard Hansel Atencia (178-PG-1997) of Titanes de Barranquilla (#3). Atencia showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Titanes, leading his team to a 85-81 win against the lower-ranked Toros Del Valle (#6, 2-5). Titanes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Atencia has a very solid season. In 3 games in Colombia he scored 18.7ppg. Hansel Atencia has also Colombian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
