There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga Wplay. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Storm as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Storm smashed 5th ranked Corsarios in San Andres Island 79-53. Carrib.Storm forced 24 Corsarios turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Romario Roque (175-1998) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. International forward Andres Ibarguen (200-1996, college: Angelo St., agency: Helping Ballers) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Jalen Brooks (196, college: LSUS, agency: Players Group) answered with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Corsarios. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Titanes. Corsarios lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Corsarios will play next round against Piratas trying to get back on the winning streak. Carrib.Storm will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Corsarios in Cartagena.
Eighth-ranked Piratas (2-9) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Titanes (9-2) in Bogota. The visitors from Barranquilla managed to secure only one-point victory 95-94. However their fans expected much easier game. Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) stepped up and scored 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Fabian Jaimes chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Jeremy Smith (180-1997, college: CSUSB, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with 22 points and 5 assists. Titanes have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Carrib.Storm. Piratas lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Titanes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Piratas will play at home against Corsarios (#5) and hope to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Bucaros (9-3) against sixth ranked Cimarrones (3-10) on Wednesday night. Visiting Bucaros were defeated by Cimarrones in a tough game in Quibdo-Choco 78-83. Oliver Garcia nailed 30 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Sebastian Valencia came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Bucaros in the defeat. Bucaros' coach Jordan Barrios rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Cimarrones. They maintain sixth place with 3-10 record. Bucaros at the other side keep the third position with three games lost. Cimarrones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bucaros will play against Toros Del Valle in Cali and hope to secure a win.
