Venezuela claim U15 South American Championship title

Venezuela clinched the U15 South American Championship title. They beat Colombia at the Domo Bolivariano in the championship clash on Sunday. Albanys Ramirez scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the winners.
Venezuela earned a 25-22 lead after ten minutes. But Colombia erased the deficit in the second frame to eke out a 43-42 halftime advantage. Venezuela limited their opponents to just 9 points in the third period to regain the lead. The hosts limited Colombia to only 7 points in the fourth stanza and rallied to a tough win at the end. Greidysmar Camacaro netted 10 points for the champions. Keren Bertel replied with 14 points for Colombia.
