Kevin Nino was the second best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 47 points he had in the Sabios

47 points scored by 33 year old Venezuelan swingman Kevin Nino (195-F/G-1991) made him the second highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Sabios lost to the Cimarrones 86 to 120. He also added 12 rebounds and 4 assists that evening. Nino is the best scorer in the league averaging over 21 points and almost 7 rebounds per game. 6 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
He has played also professionally in Colombia (Bucaros and Storm), Venezuela (Atleticos, Bucaneros, Cayaurimas, Cocodrilos and Diablos), and Peru (Inmaculada and Real Club).
Among many awards he played in the final of the Peruvian LBL Clausura in 2019. He was selected to the Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Apertura Second Team in 2022.
