Rosario's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old Dominican Rep. power forward Juan Rosario (203-F/C-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Motilones del Norte and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Piratas (#4, 11-9) 103-101. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Motilones to consolidate first place in the Colombian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Motilones has a very solid 15-4 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Rosario turned to be Motilones' top player in his first season with the team. Rosario has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 17.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 11.2rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg and 62.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Eric Crawford (193-G) of Piratas de Bogota. He is American guard in his first season at Piratas. In the last game Crawford recorded an impressive 29 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Piratas was edged by the higher-ranked Motilones (#1, 15-4) 103-101. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Piratas still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 11-9 record is not bad at all. Crawford is a newcomer at Piratas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.9ppg (#4). He also registered 4.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mascio McCadney (190-G-1998) of Los Paisas de Medellin (#6). McCadney showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Paisas, leading his team to a 109-96 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sabios (#7, 2-19). The chances of Paisas ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, McCadney could help Paisas to bring them higher in the standings. McCadney has a great season in Colombia. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.0apg (2nd best).
