Storm made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The former international guard Romario Roque (175-1998) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American Desmond Holloway (194-1990, college: Coastal) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Benito Santiago (197-1989, college: Cumberlands) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Toros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Cimarrones - Motilones 92-86

Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican point guard Adris De Leon (180-1984, college: EWU) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds. The former international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Venezuelan Hector Diaz (192-1992) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Dominican Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Motilones. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Motilones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
