Spencer's 30-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old American guard Delano Spencer (193-G-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Cimarrones del Choco and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and nine assists for Cimarrones in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Toros Del Valle (1-1) 95-91. Cimarrones was forced-out from the top positions in Colombian league. Cimarrones is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Spencer had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Cimarrones and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Tennessee State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Spencer is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.0ppg) and averages solid 71.4% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Sal Nuhu (203-C-1995) of top-ranked Motilones del Norte. He is American center in his first season at Motilones. In the last game Nuhu recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Motilones was edged by Carrib.Storm (1-1) 74-71. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Nuhu is one of the most experienced players at Motilones and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#8). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Walyn Napper (185-PG-2000) of Sabios de Manizales (#4). Napper scored 29 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of Sabios, leading his team to a 80-72 win against #1 ranked Paisas in a game of the week. Sabios needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Napper has a great season in Colombia.
