LPB Round 2 (Regular Season): Cimarrones lose to Sabios in the game between Top 4 teams

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LBP. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Manizales. host Sabios smashed Cimarrones 103-82. Sabios dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Cimarrones' 34. American point guard Walyn Napper (185-2000, college: Longwood) had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Greg Heckstall (202-1996, college: Hampton) chipped in 25 points during the contest. The former international point guard Andres Salazar (180-1997) responded with 17 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

American guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193, college: FAU) notched 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Juan Salcedo supported him with 12 points and 4 assists. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by American power forward Eden Ewing (204-1997, college: Texas Southern) did not help to save the game for Toros Del Valle. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

In the last game of round 2 Cimarrones lost to Sabios on the opponent's court 90-98.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists by Delano Spencer of Cimarrones.

Sabios looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Greg Heckstall (202-1996, college: Hampton) who scored 32 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import point guard Walyn Napper (185-2000, college: Longwood) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Sabios' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St.) produced 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists and naturalized American Simon Hunt (201-1998, college: Sonoma St.) added 23 points respectively for the guests.
