American Point guard Walyn Napper (185-PG-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Sabios de Manizales, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Cimarrones (#4, 1-3) with 21-point margin 103-82. Sabios maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Colombian LBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Sabios will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Napper had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Sabios, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Longwood College star has very solid stats this year. Napper is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.5ppg. Napper is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 7.3rpg), assists (3rd best: 6.3apg) and averages impressive 55.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international swingman Cristian Solis (G/F-2001) of Toros Del Valle. Solis had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Toros lost that game 70-79 to Paisas (3-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Solis is well-known at Toros Del Valle and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#4). He also registered 10.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Delano Spencer (193-G-1994) of Cimarrones del Choco (#4). Spencer got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. Despite Spencer's great performance the Cimarrones lost 90-98 to #2 ranked Sabios. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Cimarrones can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Spencer has individually a great season in Colombia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (2nd best) and assists with 7.0apg (best passer).
