Williams' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Emmitt Williams (198-F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Caribbean Storm Islands and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Caimanes (#1, 7-3) 87-78. Thanks to this victory Storm moved-up to the 4th position in Colombian league. Carrib.Storm is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Storm, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louisiana State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 14.2rpg. Williams is in league's top in and averages solid 2.0bpg,62.8% FGP and 48.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Sal Nuhu (203-C-1995) of league's second-best Motilones del Norte. He is American center in his first season at Motilones. In the last game Nuhu recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Motilones to another comfortable win 74-61 over slightly lower-ranked Piratas (#3, 4-6) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Motilones consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Nuhu is one of the most experienced players at Motilones and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Aaron Gedeon (203-F-1999) of Piratas de Bogota (#3). Gedeon scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Piratas, leading his team to a 83-67 easy win against #1 ranked Caimanes. The chances of Piratas ranking at the top of Group B, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gedeon could help Piratas to bring them higher in the standings. Gedeon has a very solid season. In 10 games in Colombia he scored 9.0ppg.

9. Eden Ewing (204-F/C-1997) of Toros Del Valle - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jhon Hernandez (208-C-1984) of Caimanes - 7 points and 13 rebounds
