Colombian LBP round 4 (Second Stage) best performance: Emmitt Williams

American Forward Emmitt Williams (198-F-1998) had a great game in the last round for Caribbean Storm Islands, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Cimarrones (#6, 4-10) 92-80. Storm maintains the 4th position in Colombian LBP. Carrib.Storm is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 8th lost game this season out of 15 games. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Storm, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Louisiana State University star has very solid stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.8ppg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg,65.1% FGP and 45.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was another Carrib.Storm's star - young international forward Romario Roque (180-F-1998). Roque had a very good evening with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course together with Williams he helped Caribbean Storm Islands with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Cimarrones (#6, 4-10) 104-79. Storm's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-8 record. Roque is one of the most experienced players at Storm and similarly like Emmitt Williams has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Joel Kindred (193-SG-1991) of Cimarrones del Choco (#6). Kindred got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. Despite Kindred's great performance the Cimarrones lost 80-92 to slightly higher-ranked Carrib.Storm (#4, 7-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Cimarrones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Kindred has a very solid season. In 4 games in Colombia he scored 14.0ppg.
