Sabios - Toros Del Valle 83-87

Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Leonardo Salazar (178-1993) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Brazilian center Dikembe Andre (206-1999) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American point guard Walyn Napper (185-2000, college: Longwood) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import guard Kareem Clark (190, college: Humboldt St.) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Sabios. Five Toros and four Sabios players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Motilones outrebounded Storm 50-36 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Sal Nuhu (203-1995, college: Portland St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Hysier Miller (185-2002, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
