It was a great evening for Uruguayan forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. Panamanian Alejandro Grant (199-1993) helped adding 27 points and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Brazilian center Dikembe Andre (206-1999) with 9 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Michael Wright (198-1987) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Storm dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Paisas' 34. It was a good game for the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 assists. The former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) contributed with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Storm players scored in double figures. American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Hansel Atencia (178-1997, college: Master's) added 14 points in the effort for Paisas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
