Paisas players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Hansel Atencia (178-1997, college: Master's) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193, college: FAU) who added 25 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Paisas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Storm's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.

Toros made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Toros had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian center Dikembe Andre (206-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Chilean point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Toros players scored in double figures. Argentinian guard Alejo Britos (187-1994) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Uruguayan forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Caimanes. Caimanes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
