Del Rosario's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

23-year old Yovany Del Rosario (2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for Cimarrones del Choco and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 25 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Carrib.Storm (#2, 3-1) 95-105. Cimarrones moved-up to the 7th position in Colombian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 3 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Del Rosario had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Cimarrones' top player in his first season with the team. Second best performed player last round was Tirrell Brown (198-PF-1993) of Caimanes del Llano. He is American forward in his first season at Caimanes. In the last game Brown recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. It was enough for Caimanes to edge Motilones (0-2) by 3 points 73-70. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Brown is a newcomer at Caimanes and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.5ppg (#1). He also registered 7.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Rey Abad (210-SG-2002, agency: Sport Avenir) of Motilones del Norte (#6). Abad scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Abad's great performance the Motilones lost 70-73 to Caimanes (#4, 2-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Motilones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. Abad has individually a great season in Colombia. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 10.5rpg (4th best).
