Very significant was Paisas' (#3, 3-0) victory against Storm (3-2) 65-61. It was a great evening for the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Ty-Shon Alexander (193-1998, college: Creighton) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Paisas are looking forward to face Carrib.Storm (#3) in San Andres Island in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Storm will have a break next round.
Toros (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Cimarrones (0-4) in Cali 118-85.
