Braian Angola-Rodas (ex Gran Canaria) is a newcomer at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket- January 21, 2026
During part of last season, he spent time at Turk Telekom (BSL) in the Turkish league. He also played briefly for Hapoel Tel Aviv (Winner League) in the Israeli league. Angola-Rodas has been a member of the Colombian international program for several years. He has been consistently called up to the Colombian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2012. Angola-Rodas is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Belgium (Oostende), Greece (AEK BC Athens), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Serbia (Partizan), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka and Galatasaray), NBA G League (Osceola Magic), and NBA Summer League (Orlando Magic). Among many awards, he played in the final of the Israeli League in 2024. Angola-Rodas was voted to the Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Imports Team back in 2023. He graduated from Florida State University in 2018 and is currently in his eighth season as a professional player. Angola-Rodas also played for North Idaho College for 2 years.
