International Power forward Soren De Luque (200-PF-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Motilones del Norte, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Carrib.Storm (#8, 0-12), the league's bottom-ranked team 103-96. Motilones maintains the 7th position in Colombian LBP. Motilones is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 4-8 record. In the team's last game De Luque had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Motilones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Soren De Luque has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.6ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.3rpg), assists (8th best: 3.5apg) and averages impressive 59.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Jonathan Salazar (2001) of Sabios de Manizales. Salazar had a very good evening with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course he led Sabios to another comfortable win 100-87 over slightly higher-ranked Caimanes (#4, 7-5) being unquestionably team leader. Sabios' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Salazar is one of the most experienced players at Sabios and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Sebastian Valencia (200-F/C-1997) of Caimanes del Llano (#4). Valencia scored 26 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Valencia's great performance the Caimanes lost 87-100 to slightly lower-ranked Sabios (#6, 5-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Caimanes needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Valencia has a great season in Colombia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.6rpg (8th best).
