Davion Bailey claims Colombian LBP Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Davion Bailey (193-G) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Los Paisas de Medellin and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The guard had the game-high 33 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Paisas in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Cimarrones (#5, 7-7) with 27-point margin 116-89. Paisas maintains the 2nd position in Colombian LBP. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Paisas will need more victories to improve their 9-5 record. In the team's last game Bailey had a remarkable nine three-pointers out of 13 attempts. He just recently signed at Paisas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Incarnate Word graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bailey is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.0ppg) and averages solid 2.1spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Paisas' star - young American guard Mike Miles Jr. (188-G-2002). Miles Jr. impressed basketball fans with 25 points and 3 rebounds. Of course Los Paisas de Medellin cruised to a 86-79 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Cimarrones (#5, 7-7). Paisas' second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Miles Jr. is one of the most experienced players at Paisas and similarly like Davion Bailey has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Paisas' star - American Marcus Weathers (199-G/F-1997). Weathers scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was another key player of Los Paisas de Medellin, helping his team with a 116-89 easy win against the lower-ranked Cimarrones (#5, 7-7). Paisas needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Weathers has a great season in Colombia. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.9rpg (5th best). He also has 1.2bpg and a FGP of 58.9%.
