De Luque's 36-point game gives him Player of the Week award

27-year old power forward Soren De Luque (200-PF-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Motilones del Norte and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Motilones in his team's victory, helping them to beat Sabios (#6, 6-8) 107-99. Motilones maintains the 7th position in Colombian league. Motilones is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 5-9 record. In the team's last game De Luque had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Motilones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. De Luque has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.6ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.4rpg), assists (8th best: 3.4apg) and averages solid 62.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Samuel Hincapie (196-G) of Caimanes del Llano. He is American guard in his first season at Caimanes. In the last game Hincapie recorded an impressive 35 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as Caimanes lost that game 79-92 to the lower-ranked Carrib.Storm (#8, 1-13). Caimanes managed to keep the same 3rd spot in the standings. His team's 8-6 record is not bad at all. Hincapie is one of the most experienced players at Caimanes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Braynt De La Cruz (198-G/F-2002) of Sabios de Manizales (#6). De La Cruz showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite De La Cruz's great performance the Sabios lost 99-107 to slightly lower-ranked Motilones (#7, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Sabios ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, De La Cruz could help Sabios to bring them higher in the standings. De La Cruz has a great season in Colombia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.9ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 12.8rpg (#1 in league).
