Paisas - Caimanes 88-81

American swingman Marcus Weathers (199-1997, college: SMU) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Mike Miles Jr (188-2002, college: TCU) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. American center Myles Carter (206-1997, college: Seattle) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and international Alvaro Pena (197-1995, agency: Starting 5) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Caimanes players scored in double figures.

Toros - Piratas 90-81

Toros brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American guard Saquan Singleton (198-1998, college: GMU) notched 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Emmanuel Payton-Clottey (183-1997, college: FSU) supported him with 21 points. Payton-Clottey is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Toros' coach Bernardo Fitz-Gonzalez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds by the former international power forward Santiago Serna (203-2001) did not help to save the game for Piratas. Panamanian Justin Quintero (193-1998) added 24 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
