Caimanes - Paisas 97-105

It was a great evening for American guard Mike Miles Jr (188-2002, college: TCU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Davion Bailey (193, college: UIW) helped adding 23 points. The best for the losing side was Argentinian guard Alejo Britos (187-1994) with 27 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American center Myles Carter (206-1997, college: Seattle) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Paisas and five Caimanes players scored in double figures.

Piratas - Toros 86-91

Toros dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas' 36. They outrebounded Piratas 45-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward James Montgomery (203-2001, college: Barry) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Emmanuel Payton-Clottey (183-1997, college: FSU) accounted for 29 points for the winning side. Payton-Clottey is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. point guard David Soler (181-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Panamanian forward Aaron Gedeon (203-1999, college: Southwest) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Piratas in the defeat. Four Toros and five Piratas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
