Eagles clinched Liga Superior 2022 title in Costa Rica. In the decisive game they edged Heredia Asoheba 57:52 to win the series 2-1. Eagles started with an 18-10 run and led 7 points at the halftime. Heredia Asoheba exploded with a 17-9 surge in the third quarter to take a narrow lead entering the last period, but could not win the game. Eagles needed a final 16-10 rally to seal the trophy.
