Barva is TETRACAMPEON ! - Nov 16, 2009 
With only 10 second to go, Isaac St.Rose (190-G/F-83, college: John Brown) hit a three pointer giving the decisive advantage to Ferreterias Brenes Barva and the Game 4 of the LSB-Clausura Finals ended 69-68 for the reigning champions. The aggregate result is 3-1, and Barva is Costa Rican Champion team for the fourth year in a row. But Escazu end from the court head high, for having fought till the end. Panamanian import St.Rose ended the game with 23 points, and was for sure the game MVP, but Columbian import Michael Jackson (F) was stellar he too in Escazu, with 22 points in a fantastic losing effort.  
Ferreterias Brenes Barva win Apertura - Jun 29, 2009 
Led by Andres Barrantes (183-G-80), who scored 17 points, and Luis Castillo (185-G/F-78), who hit the decisive three pointer only few seconds to go, Ferreterias Brenes Barva defeated 68-54 Coopenae-Liceo de Costa Rica in Game 4 of the Final Series, for the final 3-1 in the aggregate result. Barva dominated the game, winning 27-22 the first quarter and ending ahead the second one by 10 points
