There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LBS.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from San Jose: Coopenae (#1) and Escazu (#2). Escazu was smashed at home by 19 points 67-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Escazu. Undefeated Coopenae (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Escazu at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Coopenae are looking forward to face Barva (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Escazu's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in San Jose to the arena Universidad Latina.

CR Vasco Da Gama Rio de Janeiro (NBB) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American guard Joshua Freelove (188-82kg-90, college: Buffalo, agency: Interperformances). He played this summer at Super Cable Grecia in Costa Rican LBS league. Freelove managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 8 LBS games he recorded 14.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.9apg and 1.6spg. The last season he played at Betsafe in Latvian LBL where in three games he averaged 5.3ppg, 1.0rpg and 2.0apg   [read more]

LBS Round 12: ARBA defeats Grecia in the game between Top 4 teams - 12 days ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. An interesting game for ARBA (8-1) which played road game in Grecia against one of their biggest challengers Grecia (5-3). Second ranked ARBA had an easy win 94-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Grecia. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofARBA (7-1) in San Jose on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Escazu (8-1) 73-66.
