Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

Bottom-ranked Abogados managed to get the second consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they edged fifth-ranked Liberia 75-72. Abogados maintains ninth position with 3-10 record. Liberia at the other side dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost. Abogados are looking forward to face league's second-placed Barva on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Liberia will play against the league's leader ARBA (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
Undefeated leader ARBA delivered the fourteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked U Costa Rica (4-11) 104-33 in San Jose. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-91, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. Amaurys Ripool contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. ARBA's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jay Allen (-97) replied with 9 points and 7 rebounds for U Costa Rica. Undefeated ARBA (14-0) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 14 victories in a row. U Costa Rica at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. ARBA will play against Liberia (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. U Costa Rica will play against Perez Zeledon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
