ARBA held off Grecia to open win count in the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-79. ARBA dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Grecia's 32. They outrebounded Grecia 44-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. ARBA looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Ty Armstrong (206-91, college: Concordia Irvine) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Five ARBA players scored in double figures. ARBA's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Marquis Aaron (196, college: Bellevue) produced 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) added 24 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for lost side.

Escazu - Barva 55-78

Barva upset Escazu on the road in the opener. The game without a history. Barva led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Escazu to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Barva forced 21 Escazu turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian Amir Alvarado (198-84, college: Marshalltown CC) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international guard Jaythelv Davis (184-85) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Barva's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international guard Kay Martinez (198-84, college: Jackson St.) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Julius Brooks (206-90, college: Loyola, MD) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Escazu.

San Andres Warriors (LPB) landed experienced 38-year old American ex-international shooting guard Cory Bradford (191-SG-78, college: Illinois) . Bradford played at Bosna-Royal (Division I) in league.
