LBS Round 4: ARBA hands first defeat to Escazu - Apr 10, 2018

Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Escazu (2-1) in San Jose on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by ARBA (3-0) 67-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Escazu. It was a key game for the top position in the league. ARBA forced 21 Escazu turnovers. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) fired 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Dijon Farr (201-91, college: Ark.-Fort Smith) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. ARBA's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. ARBA have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 3-0 record. Escazu at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Grecia. ARBA are looking forward to face Grecia (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Escazu will play against Liberia and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Another exciting game was between seventh ranked Abogados and 4th ranked Liberia where host Abogados (1-3) won against Liberia (0-2) 80-72. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Abogados left bottom position moving up to fifth place. Liberia at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Abogados will play against Siquirres (#6) in the next round. Liberia will play against the league's second-placed Escazu and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The best stats of 4th round was 14 points and 10 rebounds by Jeffney Anderson of ARBA.
