Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Escazu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Escazu smashed bottom-ranked Siquirres in San Jose 106-41. Escazu forced 20 Siquirres turnovers and outrebounded them 52-27 including a 41-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Siquirres' players. The best player for the winners was international Adrian Chavarria (-96) who scored 21 points. International power forward Rohel Wilson (197-89) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Escazu's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Cesar Sanchez who recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Escazu have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Siquirres still closes the standings with three games lost. Siquirres will play next round against strong Grecia trying to get back on the winning streak. Escazu will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked U Costa Rica on the road.
Second ranked Escazu faced 4th ranked U Costa Rica. Guests from San Jose (5-1) smashed host U Costa Rica (2-3) 86-56.
