LBS is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 7 rounds left. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Leader ARBA blasted bottom-ranked Liberia (0-5) in 87-33 on Saturday evening keeping the perfect record after 7 rounds. Liberia is still unable to win any game. ARBA held Liberia to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Liberia 83-27 including a 24-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. ARBA looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Liberia's players. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. The former international forward Amaurys Ripool (196-86) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. ARBA's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Herny Linton produced 5 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Undefeated ARBA (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row behind leader Escazu. Liberia at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. ARBA are looking forward to face Siquirres (#6) in the next round. Liberia will have a break next round.

Worth to mention a great performance of American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Adrian Chavarria contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International center Juan Vargas answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds for U Costa Rica. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Escazu. They keep a position of league leader. U Costa Rica at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Escazu will play against Abogados (#4) in the next round. U Costa Rica will play against Grecia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Escazu (6-1) played at the court of 5th ranked U Costa Rica (2-4). Escazu smashed U Costa Rica 86-56. Escazu forced 22 U Costa Rica turnovers and outrebounded them 63-46 including 16 on the offensive glass. International center Juan Vargas answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and center Andres Flohr (195-94) added 7 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for U Costa Rica.
