Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Escazu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Escazu smashed 4th ranked Abogados in San Jose 90-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Abogados. Escazu forced 20 Abogados turnovers and outrebounded them 70-40 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Georgio Milligan (187-90, college: Franklin & Marshall) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Gabriel Quesada (198-85) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. Fabian Mora (185) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Escazu (7-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Abogados at the other side keep the fourth place with four games lost. Abogados will play next round against strong Grecia trying to get back on the winning streak. Escazu will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Top-ranked ARBA blasted bottom-ranked Siquirres (0-4) in 100-35 keeping the perfect record after 8 rounds. Siquirres is still unable to win any game. The former international forward Amaurys Ripool (196-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 20 rebounds. David Shedden contributed with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Christopher Calderon replied with 16 points and 5 steals for Siquirres. Undefeated ARBA (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row behind leader Escazu. Newly promoted Siquirres still closes the standings with four games lost. ARBA will play against U Costa Rica (#5) in the next round. Siquirres will play against Liberia and hope to get finally their first victory.
