Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked ARBA as it allowed them to take a leadership position. ARBA smashed 5th ranked U Costa Rica in San Jose 94-63. ARBA dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to U Costa Rica's 38. ARBA forced 19 U Costa Rica turnovers and outrebounded them 65-36 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international forward Amaurys Ripool (196-86) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. International Carlos Pereira (170-98) answered with 21 points for U Costa Rica. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated ARBA (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. U Costa Rica lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. U Costa Rica will play next round against Liberia trying to get back on the winning streak. ARBA will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Abogados on the road.
An interesting game for Grecia (5-2) which hosted in Grecia 4th placed Abogados (2-5). Third ranked Grecia had an easy win 83-49. International swingman George Letford (185-91) stepped up and scored 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Marco Chacon chipped in 20 points. The best for the losing side was Fabian Mora (185) with 8 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Grecia. They maintain third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader ARBA. Abogados at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Grecia will play against league's second-placed Escazu in San Jose in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Abogados will play at home against the league's leader ARBA and hope to get back on the winning track.
Siquirres' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they defeated Liberia (0-7) 65-61 on Saturday. Newly promoted Siquirres maintains sixth place with 1-4 record. It was Liberia's seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Siquirres will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Liberia will play against U Costa Rica (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
