Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

LBS top team - Escazu (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed fifth ranked U Costa Rica (4-8) in San Jose 84-50. International center Gabriel Quesada (198-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Andres Umana (204-83) contributed with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. International center Juan Vargas replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for U Costa Rica. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Escazu have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. U Costa Rica at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost.
Bottom-ranked Liberia is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to second ranked ARBA (9-1) 135-27. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) had a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and David Shedden chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. ARBA's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Miguel Ortiz (-95) responded with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second position with 9-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Escazu. Liberia at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.

In the last game of round 14 Siquirres was smashed by Grecia on the road 78-51.



Grecia - Siquirres 78-51

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Grecia (7-3) crushed at home 6th ranked Siquirres (1-8) 78-51. Grecia forced 39 Siquirres turnovers. The former international guard Jerson Harris (196-88) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Stephan Campbell (197-98) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Grecia players scored in double figures. Grecia's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Randy Lewin responded with 5 points, 25 rebounds and 7 blocks and Alexander Aguilar scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Grecia maintains third position with 7-3 record having six points less than leader Escazu. Siquirres lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixth place with eight games lost.

ARBA - Liberia 135-27

Bottom-ranked Liberia is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to second ranked ARBA (9-1) 135-27. ARBA held Liberia to an opponent 18.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 58.9 percent accuracy of the winners. ARBA forced 29 Liberia turnovers and outrebounded them 82-25 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Liberia's players. International guard Isaac Conejo (182-94) had a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and international forward David Shedden (197-95) chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds during the contest.
