There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in LBS. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

An exciting game was played in San Jose. Escazu faced U Costa Rica. Host Escazu (4-0) smashed guests from (0-3) 79-54. Escazu forced 21 U Costa Rica turnovers. The best player for the winners was international power forward Rohel Wilson (197-89) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Alonso Sanchez (174-85) chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Juan Cordero (-98) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Escazu are looking forward to face Grecia (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. U Costa Rica will play against ARBA in San Jose and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Stephan Campbell (197-98) answered with 9 points and 23 rebounds for Grecia. ARBA will play against U Costa Rica (#4) in the next round. Grecia will play against Escazu in San Jose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Grecia's players. It was a good game for the former international forward Amaurys Ripool (196-86) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. American guard Dijon Farr (201-91, college: Ark.-Fort Smith) contributed with 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. ARBA's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
